I’m Koen van Barneveld, a Dutch landscape and astrophotographer with a deep passion for nature — especially remote mountain regions and clear night skies. My work focuses on capturing the grandeur of both the earthly landscape and the vastness of the cosmos.
I began my serious photography journey in 2022, and since then, I’ve been working with advanced camera gear, including a modified Sony A7iii specially adapted for astrophotography. In 2024, I released my e-book "A Practical Guide to Astrophotography," where I share my knowledge and techniques to help others get started in this magical field.
My photos are taken all over the world and are known for their dreamy and atmospheric feel.
